Swimming like Fishys!

Nolan loved swimming this summer at the pool, on the lake or anywhere where there was sun especially when Arthur would come visit!  They hung out in their floaties and enjoyed the water.  Both boys will def tan easily someday!

 

First Haircut, Happy Fourth!

Nolan's first haircut was on the 4th of July of 2013.  Grandma Jayne gave him a cut at Grandma and Grandpa Underhill's house so it was a family affair!  He sat like a good boy and we enjoyed an excellent steak dinner later!

 

 

 Mommy and Daddy even went on a date to see Tim McGraw the day after!

A Seykora/Q Wedding!

On June 1, 2012, Auntie Ashley Seykora and (now officially) Uncle Joe Quernemoen got married in Owatonna, Minnesota.  Nana Jayne and Grandpa Al worked very hard to have the wedding at their home.  Jesse and I were attendants in the wedding and Nolan looked great in a suit for his first wedding event! Thanks to Allie and Tim for taking care of him during the ceremony-you guys did a great job!  Here is a family pic from the wedding!

Our Little Helmet Head!

 

Our little man had to get a helmet at about 5 months old.  Long story short, his head is a bit flat in the back so if he undergoes this treatment it is supposed to help correct the problem.  It is mostly for cosmetic reasons (heaven forbid he doesn't forgive me if he goes bald!) but it can also cause ear, jaw and other health issues if it's not corrected.  He had the helmet from May-September but he looked so cute in it!  We had to travel back and forth to Lombard quite often but it was worth it!  Daddy Jesse even hand painted it to make it look like a boxing helmet! 

Benny Boo Boo's is Born!

Our close friends, Jared and Christina (Ballano) Eischeid had a baby boy on April 14th! We were in Minnesota when Ben was born but couldn't wait to get back to meet him.  He was a very healthy little boy weighing in at 8 lbs!  Ben and Nolan will be life-long friends!

St. Patty's Day 2013!

Nolan is sporting his green for St. Patty's in this picture with Lola.  These two are our lucky charms!

Nolan James is Baptized!

Our family and close friends celebrated Nolan's baptism in March.  We had to re-schedule from the original date because Mommy got so sick after returning back to work.  But everything worked out.  Nolan was baptized at OLA Church in Beloit, Wisconsin by Father Gary.  We are grateful to have Jeff and Paula as Nolan's Godparents.  It was a nice, quaint ceremony and then a celebration lunch took place at The Butterfly Club.    Such a great day for our little boy!
